Lepidium Sativium (Persian Cress)

A pretty and delicate "filler" for cut flower bouquets, featuring tiny seed pods that resemble silvery-green coins. The leaves of Persian Cress are edible and have a mild, peppery flavour.

Sowing:

Direct seed (recommended): as soon as soil can be worked, scatter seeds. Thin to 2 - 6" apart, when first true leaves appear.

Outdoor: sow 4-6 weeks before planting out. Sow into cell packs or larger containers. Harden off seedlings before transplanting outdoors. Support may be required. Succession plant multiple times about two weeks apart for continuous harvest.
