This heirloom spinach was made for the cold! *Giant Winter* thrives in autumn, winter, and early spring, making it a top choice for cold-hardy greens. Grow it in a winter greenhouse, polytunnel, or outdoors under a cozy mulch blanket. You can also direct sow in late Fall or early Winter for an extra-early harvest from February to April.  

True to its name, *Giant Winter* grows impressively large—think Swiss chard-sized leaves! The dark green, slightly savoyed leaves have a classic triangular shape and a rich, robust flavour.
